EF-S lens on FF mirrorless?

So, canon has released the APS-C mirrorless, which, with an adapter, can take EF and EF-S lenses.

If canon were to release a FF mirrorless, surely it would be possible to mount an EF-S mens with a thiner adapter no?

Now that i would pay 800€ for!!!

The EF-M mount is 58mm in diameter, with a flange distance of 18mm from the bayonet to the sensor. As the image above clearly shows it's matched specifically to the APS-C sensor size. So don't expect a future full frame EF-M mount camera - it's not going to happen.

BTW I'm not really sure why you would want to do this; EF-S lenses don't have an image circle large enough to cover full-frame (but if your heart was really set on doing it you might be able to use an extension tube for macro that might get the image circle big enough. Of course, you loose roughly a stop of light per cm and you don't have infinity focus, but they'll still AF).

OTOH, the EF-M flange-back distance is the same as Sony E mount, so there'll be a whole slew of adapters to mount all kinds of tasty old-school lenses to it.
