Damn it, Canon! I'm trying to not spend money here.

That is an insanely good deal on an incredible kit. I don't expect those to last very long in stock.

I bought one. I will sell the crappy lenses on ebay for $250 and therefore pay just $500 for the camera body.
I just want to use it for video. I already tried the dual pixel AF and it works great.

Those aren't crappy lenses. They are cheap and slow but aren't crappy lenses. IQ wise, they're above average.

Actually, they are way above average, IMO. My 55-250 STM was just as good on my crop camera as my 70-200 L F4 IS, but with much less size, weight, and better focal coverage.

The new EF-S STM lenses are just as good if not better in some cases that the previous generation of L lenses. Canon is really making an effort to get people to jump from cell phone to cheaper DSLR gear, and one great way of doing that is offering image quality that absolutely kills and cell phone out there.

This is actually a really good lens. While it is a variable aperture, its really good for video too. The Movie IS on this lens really smooths out the video.

I have a 70-200 f2.8L II but I still take this when I don't want the weight of that lens.
