Fake slow motion shot with 5D

Hey guys,
I made a film a few months back that made use of "fake" slow motion using the 5D mark ii. We had the actors act out the punch in slow motion and sped up certain parts of it in post - I think it turned out pretty good after adding some sound effects!

May be I watch too many videos and too many slow-mo videos...
And, in my opinion, the fake slow-mo... looks fake...

Next time, try this:
Do the fake slow-mo, but record in 30p...
Use Twixtor/Optical Flow to change it 48p and slow it down to 24p.

Hopefully, that translates better.
