Sell your EF-S only stuff, wait for 5D Mark III, get any lenses that you might use on that.. Sell everything you own, trade it for a 5D Mark II + 24-105 f/4 IS kit that are selling for lower than usual atm. Use a credit card / bill me later type service to make up the difference that you can't afford in cash.

or

Just use what you have and stay with it until they release an improved EF-S body that handles high ISO better. I can make the 7D work quite nicely in low light concert hall type situations. Using RAW editing to help fix exposure and white balance and then do some color edits on good shots I've collected.

You must be the only person that thinks the low light performance of the 7D is close to that of the 5DII. It is good - but about 1 stop slower. My 5DII is about the same at 3200 as my 7D is at 1600. AF on the 5DII is way better than the 7D in low light.

shooting a 30D currently, saving up for the 5D3, I am hoping for much better high ISO's compared to my trusty rusty old gear. I get good results shooting at very low light, while being able to expose to the right, even at ISO 3200.

What is to expected ISO range wise from a 5D3. ISO 51200 or higher? Hope it has ISO 25600 as native ISO.
