No more announcements for 2016?

The Canon website says new arrivals winter 2016. What a strange way to describe the latest announcement when it's not even spring. Is Canon implying with the phrase Winter 2016 that any new camera announcements made this year will not be available till next year?

I still think Canon 6D Mark ii will be announced in September 2016 since has been four years since it came out in September 2012.

they announce a quarter at a time. Did you think they meant 2017?

Expect announcements one week before WPPI in April, one Week before Photokina in September. and probably one or two others this year.
