This rumored spec sheet seems plausible at least, and jives with:

(1) The recent rumors that the R1’s MP count isn‘t as high as some had hoped.

(2) Petapixel’s EIC saying that he thinks Canon marketing is “disappointed“ at the release of the A9III. The A9III being a true GS camera would have stolen the R1’s thunder of having a sub 1 millisecond stacked sensor, if this spec sheet is true.

Even when your camera is set to electronic shutter? That seems weird, but maybe IQ considerations?
The focus stacking feature only works with electronic shutter :) I suspect it's just an oversight and they left it at 30fps that the R3/R7 firmwares have. The supported lenses should be fast enough to move with those tiny steps at a gazillion fps!
