The regular price of the RF 50mm f/1.2L USM is listed on Midwest Photo's page as $2,299, not $1,899 -- as stated in the post.

So, with the coupon code, the price drops to $2,099, not $1,699.

My local camera shop had the same discounts through yesterday and I used it as an opportunity to pick up a R6 Mk2 for $500 off of MSRP. A decent deal. I did consider briefly a R8, but the following features on the R6 made the R6 a better purchase for me: twice the frame rate with mechanical shutter, IBIS, weather sealing, larger battery, shutter covered at shut down and overall the R6 fits better in my hand. With that said, both cameras have excellent AF systems and the R8 is a solid camera.
