My PowerShot V1 has the same style of articulating screen as on my R1 and R8.

Considering that they took away the articulating screen from the G5X II in 2019 but brought it back on your vlogging camera six years later, just proves my point - they really didn't want to give ordinary Powershots that feature, only vlogging cameras that couldn't be sold without it.

No other Powershot that I'm aware of had this combination of features.

The G1Xiii. A superb, tiny APS-c sensor camera. Unloved by so many due to its ‘slow’ lens. Their loss !
