One can only hope that "big", it doesn't refer to physical properties only.

As far as persons representing Canon I take that with a grain of salt, what else can they say?

I really hope they work the kinks out first this time. I agree that it would be nice for the movie to stay out If I could actually afford to buy this camera I think I would be extremely excited right now. For me it is just more the curiosity of what they are going to put in that thing.

Am I missing something here? Is this supposed to be it?

Sounds like he's been working with someone that made some sort of tethering hardware for an iPad/iPhone, doesn't sound like anything like a 1Ds or camera body...

Edit: Looks like the big announcement and the "something to do with..." are separate, it's just worded pretty wrong and the elipses don't help at all. At least that's my guess.

Yeah, I'm curious what's up with the iPhone/iPad thing in there ???. I don't have either, so it won't effect me, but now I'm really interested.

The truth is we have more info and announcements coming in the next 2-4 weeks than I’ve probably ever had since Reverie or Nocturne

If my memory doesn't fail nocturne was linked to the 1DIV, right? So if there is something in the tube that is bigger than all he ever had, it cannot be an iphone thing only...Must be something related to 1DsIV...time will tell...

Some guy posted a video on vimeo 8 days ago with a description "Red one (indoor) + 1DS Mark IV (outodor)." It's probably just a typo, but it gets your heart going. I'm really hoping that we see a 1Ds Mark IV soon.
