I figured this might be a good spot to get some quick feedback. DPReview would be difficult because I'd get different feedback based on which forum I posted in.

I've been shooting with 2 7D bodies and a 70D recently. I decided to sell some lenses and one of the 7D bodies to fund a new body purchase.

I originally planned to get a 7D Mark II but recently have been considering a 6D instead. My remaining 7D with grip will cover my sports shooting needs and the 6D would give me more flexibility for events.

Lenses I'll use are EF-S 10-22mm, 24-70mm L, 70-200 f/2.8L and a small mix of EF and EF-S primes.

So, do I go for the 6D or a 7DII? Almost same price, totally different cameras.

P.S. I have had 1DIII, 5D and 5DII bodies in the past but went all crop for some reason a year or two ago.

I still haven't sold my 6d yet because of the GREAT iso....but the Af is just trash - the 5d3 would serve you better.

OK, never mind. I'm picking up a local 5D Mark III from a local Craigs List seller instead.

Sort of a perfect answer actually, but I'll probably have to sell the 70D and/or the EF-S 10-22 to make up the difference.
Better decision, you won't regret that. I personally believe that the 5D3 is an excellent all-around camera and your 24-70L will finally shine.
