I am itching for the 60D I think it will be a game changer for Canon, maybe not dramatically but i think one of the most important things to come out of this camera is Canon will get a lot of things right in this that they have not implemented properly or had the best results with in the past. Auto Focus (Fingers Crossed) video, grip and size (for me, smaller hands) screen, and also the nice inclusion of DIGIC V hopefully will help combat rolling shutter. But .... we'll see, I'm waiting to be let down. :'(

I wanted to see just how far Canon could go with the 1DsIV in terms of image quality (and whether they'd stick with the EF mount... *fingers crossed*)

Of course, I'm also desperate for an affordable 5D series successor ever since I sold my 5D2 earlier this year... it's hard to get back to crop bodies after getting used to FF...

What a surreal idea, looking forward to a designation of a camera without having a clue of what specs it’s going to have. In that case I’m looking forward to getting my hands on 999D, entry level, mirror-less, medium-format camera.

I must say, I am surprised that so many of you guys want the 5d Mark III on account there hasn't been any rumors out there yet. I would love this camera to come out however and hope it does this fall.

I'd love to see a Mark iv without the video functionality. I'm sure it's great, but no interest to me. Would bring the price down a bit and make the camera more attractive to me.
Well maybe someone can use it, i used video on my 7D once, when I was testing it. :D

I'm surprised that more here aren't as excited about the MkIV 1Ds.

I honestly loath working which the H2 system, but for many of my clients I still have to for the image size, so I am really hoping that the Mk IV will tip us over the 30MP mark, and thus allow me to give up the poor designed, fiddly and cheap feeling Hassy for ever!

C'mon Canon, don't let me down, please!

Me?

None :D
Because I decided to pull the trigger on a 5D MK II this easter - I was thinking of waiting for a MK III, but then I got a nice price, the MK II is getting cheaper and its proven - and that MK III might take another year.

But that will be my general interest in bodies - a 5D MK "n" - but it will be a while until I change from my MK II.

I voted for the 5D3 ... But what about the 3D ;) one wonders if its USP will be a square sensor (32x32mm or whatever the max is) rated at 24MP. Well we all have to wait and see .....

I'm also interested in what will replace the G11.

Salve a tutti.....io spero che CANON dopo aver visto il successo di nikon con(d3,d700 e d3s)faccia una fullframe con max 15/16mgpixel con fts 6 ed magari x compensare con la 5dmark2...meno funzionalita video!!!insomma x me la tanto attesa macchina fotografica sarebbe la CANON3D...............DAIIIIIIIII CANON.....basta non piu di 21mgpixl.......se NIKON ha aumentato le vendite con 12mgpixel...........un motivo ci sara!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-X

I voted for the 5D mkIII. I really want to get a full frame camera, but can't afford the 1DS mkIV. (Although I must say I am very curious about that camera...it is probably my second choice). I know that I can afford one of the 5D cameras. I am hopeful that the 5d III will have a faster/better AF as that is the only thing that has held me back on the mk II. If the Mk III comes out and the AF isn't improved, then I know that I won't get a better camera for a while and I will just get a mk II as they will definitely be cheaper at that point.

The 60D will definitely be in my price range, but I am really tired of using a crop camera. Every time I use my friends 5D I am reminded of how much I want a FF. I am kind of curious about what kinds of goodies it will have though.

Now a mythical 3D would be nice, but we really don't even know if one will ever come out. It seems like more of a pipe dream with specs that people keep making up. Seems like everyone keeps giving it all of their dream specs. Don't get me wrong, if Canon made a camera with all of those specs, I would love to have it, but I think I would go crazy waiting for it to come out. With the 5D III, we know it's coming, it's just a matter of when.
