  1. Well
I’m happy as the others with 24/25p, BUT autoiso….

Why the hell canon had introduced correct autoiso in manual mode for video (liveview) and did not for stills? It is still camera in the first place.

  2. I love this camera…I bought one when the 7D was announced…Once I saw the 7D specs, I was sure they would release a 24P/25P firmware update this year…I was off with my estimate, but am excited that they are making what I find to be a perfect camera for the price, even better! I’m only a recent camera pro camera owner, but I’m liking the direction the company is taking in terms of taking care of it’s high end users, and keeping desired functionality coming in the form of firmware updates…

  3. Yeah right! There will always be something (better weather sealing! I want it to work with third party batteries!), you can’t please everyone.

However, hopefully this will quiet it down to a dull background roar for the majority of users.

  4. I’m not sure, as I only use the 5Dii and my wife won’t let me run out and get a new cropped camera when I just got this one. I thought the entire purpose of two processors was to handle the video better in the first place, only one is needed for still photos. Weird to hear that it’s not worth it…

  5. Gosh I hope this 5D Mark II band-aid does not mean Canon will delay the introduction of the 5D Mark III for early 2010.
