The big red thing below the camera is surely the battery pack, isn’t it?
Well that’s the smallest front element on 400 2.8 in the world then. Look at the pegs under the hood to make it level, that is the same size as my 300 f2.8, the 400 f2.8 hangs below the body and you would need pegs on the body to make it level.
Yeah mkln is right, he means by an external battery grip.
