A wonder how big of a battery waster this would be?

For even more customization, adjustment levels for the wide-angle and telephoto ends of particular lenses can be entered and recorded into the camera’s memory.

No "arsenal" is complete without a powerful handgun. I suggest a .44 magnum.
Than you can successfully shoot yourself for going into wedding photography when you realize what an impossible nightmare it is.
Geez, journalism is bad enough. Do you have a real issue with masochism?
Get yourself an MBA. Become a slithery banker and steal enough money to hire people to take pictures of anything you point at.

It does focus but it is not consistant, I can't put my finger on the problem (pardon the pun). My subjucts are nearly always stationary so I have it set on one shot.

Now what ... well, the S110 -- "progressing" from S100 -- of course...MARKOE PHOTOE said:As far as model numbers are concerned, I would think that the S105 would be the next generation of this model seeing how they progressed from S95, S100, SXXX.....
I still have both of these models and just bought the Sony RX100 about a month ago from Digital Rev in China. Got to admit, the RX100 IQ is spectacular. It's fast and has many more usuable features than my beloved S100.
Now what Canon?
Hmmm... I think -- on this one -- true...SwampYankee said:I don't know about this one. The S95 didn't have a grip on the front and it was so much of an issue that there were after market grips. They added it to the S100 so I would be surprised if they are losing it one model later. I think false on this one

Unfortunately for Canon, the consumers in this gadget segment aren't as tech-ignorant.
