Show your Bird Portraits

I put my bagpack on a bench to change lenses and this canadian goose had a close look. Probably it had hope for food but didn't get any.
But I took the chance to use my Sigma 50mm 1.4 for a portrait.

I am the new guy and not trying to be critical. Your shots are amazing but that gigantic water is so obtrusive it is hard to truly enjoy the pics. IMHO you are taking away the beauty of your shots.
Thanks for the compliments, and thanks for your opinion about the copyright mark.
I'll take that into account. And maybe I'll find something better.
Please note that I am just using DPP for post-production. If you know some easy way to insert a copyright with DPP, please let me know

Why bother with copyright?

I'm going to post my photos from today in two series: very different birds and with the White Tern I was moving around to get it on different backgrounds.

And the White Tern. You don't see them as low on the tree often... All my day was in the Zoo (only the plants that I posted today are not wild): a lot of people and when I started taking the photos of the Tern few kids from two families came around - touching/shaking the tripod and limiting my space to move around. I was reaching my hottest boiling point when they moved further (but I already lost my enthusiasm!). Kids are kids but what about the ignorant/arrogant parents (and where is the parenting actually?!). Anyway - here are the photos. Not sure these are the final versions/photos that i will keep but right now I'm kind of exhausted!
