Show your Bird Portraits

Female Reed Warbler with Common Blue Damselfly and another with an insect (R5/100-500mm). I was going to post the Damselfly in the Dragonflies thread but felt that @Maximilian's heart would be broken to see a Damselfly eaten.

Firstly, Alan, both are great photos, especially the first one.
Secondly, I thank you for your thoughtfulness, which would not have been necessary. :p
I love these insects, but my heart won't break as long as this wasn't the last one.
And I also know about the circle of life.

And as the bird is the more prominent subject in that photo, I think your choice was right to put it here.
Not because of my heart. ;)

Some small birds today, all far away and hidden in foliage. The centre spot AF on the R5 with the 100-500 found them. All 100% crops. A pair of juvenile Reed Warblers, two Corn Buntings and a female Blackcap.
