Nice shots Alan.Female and male Linnets from the Pembrokeshire coast (R5/100-500mm). I see these occasionally close to home, but not as well as these handsome birds. The first two are a breeding pair. The third has a very fine red breast.

We drove to Wales on the Pembrokeshire coast to get the Puffins on the isle of Skomer. The Linnets, Stonechats, Curlews, Oystercatchers etc were all seen in the local countryside.
