Billingham Hadley Pro capacity and water resistance

I am looking for a classy camera bag to use in places where my Tamrac Evolution backpack would not fit. I am thinking about the Billingham Hadley Pro but I am worried about two aspects: capacity and water resistance and I would like to know if anyone here has experience with this bag?

Could I fit a Canon EOS 6D with 24-105mm attached to the camera and a Sigma 12-24mm inside the bag? The Sigma is almost the same size as the Canon lens if you are not familiar with this lens.

Will this bag protect your equipment in case of rain? The specs say that it is made of waterproof canvas, but I think it has no rain cover. Could it stand some rain? Can you adapt a rain cover to it?

Thanks,
Antonio

I went to the isle of may to photograph some puffins, sat my hadley bag at my feet not realising there were gunwhales.

Choppy crossing, big wash, bag soaked. Drenched. horrible sinking feeling. Body and 200nmm f2.8 k inside main compartment, but probably lost the the 135 in the outer pouch...

nope. bone dry.

They are not submersible, but everything else but.
