70-200 chipped glass on front piece of glass, cost to fix?

Hi all, my friend by accident made a small chip in the glass on my 70-200 f/2.8 IS lens the other day. fortunately you cannot see it when you take a photo however, I still want to get it fixed. anyone have any idea how much this might cost? thanks so much!

USA? Canada? Sweden? All may have drastically different prices.

In the USA, there are fixed level prices for most lenses, so repairs for a simple fix probably start around $350-$400. Be aware that there may very well be hidden damage, so they will require it to be repaired as well. This means that you must have Canon look at it and get a estimate. If the repair cost is too high, you can keep it or sell it on ebay.
