BIRD IN FLIGHT ONLY -- share your BIF photos here

While you Yankees are travelling the world to photo beautiful birds or hiding your own for yourselves, what do you provide for me on my first day in Cape Cod, surely the ugliest bird, a Turkey Vulture or Buzzard. Oh, there was a Belted Kingfisher the other side of a lake, and I am travelling with the RF 100-500.

I'm sure the "Yankees" on that location are seeing the same stuff as you :)! Just keep shooting: birds are birds anywhere in the world and they don't care what you wish. BTW on my tiny island I wish to see that "ugly bird" - I afraid I would get out of my shoes :ROFLMAO:!

It was a joke, an attempt at irony. Immediately above my ugly bird were beautiful shots by @foda and @shire_guy of lovely birds, which I was complimenting by contrast.

Common (or European) kestrel (Falco tinnunculus) taking of from a pole on the Dutch island of Texel. The bird is wet because had just taken a bath in a puddle by the side of the road (it could have skipped the bath as the rain was pouring down five minutes later).
