C.Fn IV-5 on 1DX

Hi guys -

I hope you can help.

I have been using a 1D4 for the last few years to photograph wildlife mostly in Av mode. Therefore, I am accustomed to adjusting my main parameter (Aperture) with the wheel on the top of the camera.

I also use Manual mode on 1D4 regularly and found C.Fn IV-5 on the 1D4 which allowed me to switch the function of the wheel on top with the wheel on the back......so that now the top wheel adjusted Aperture in M mode, just like it does in Av mode.

I recently bought a 1DX and I don't seem to be able to find a function to switch the wheels' functions on that camera. Does anyone know if it is possible, or if they have left it out this time around (perhaps because I am the only person on the planet who uses it?!)?

Many thanks.

Ed

I have the main dial (wheel on top) controlling aperture in M mode. On the 1D X, it's in Custom Controls (C.Fn menu 5 or hit the Q button then select the bottom right icon on the main LCD), select each 'dial' icon to change the function.
