So I want to buy a fast tele prime and I recently checked out the 135mm Softfocus. (my Budget is extremely low) I dont really care about softfocus, although it would add a unique touch to my pictures.
Do you guys have any experience worth sharing? Is it good? (Bokeh, focus, built quality, optical quality etc.?)
I use a Canon 7D and a old 1D
Thanks!

Nice enough images without soft focus dialled in.
Typical of its design age: solid enough, noisy slow af, gritty loose feeling mf, geometric bokeh.

Hard to recommend in this day & age.

If you can get one cheap then why not, I wouldn't buy new at list tbh.

Something like a 100mm f2.0 is a similar price and worlds apart in terms of focus speed, if you can dpend a bit more the 135mm f2l is an evergreen lens that will hold most of its value if you evver plan to resell.

Definitely go for the 135 f/2 if you can. I haven't tried the 100 soft focus, but the 135L is a dream of a lens.
