Canon 7D Mk II now has $300 discount (=$1,499)

This morning B&H Photo, Adorama, Best Buy were showing an increase in their discount for the body-only model from $100 to $300 bringing the final cost to $1,499.

I just purchased a 7D Mk II last night for $1,500 thinking that I had been so clever in getting such a great deal....My self evaluations of my cleverness are not entirely reliable...

Surprisingly this $300 discount is not reflected in Canon's own on-line store which still shows the $100 discount to $1,699.

Hmm, I wonder if this will push down the ebay prices back to their earlier price levels.

$1349 for a US model from a Authorized dealer seems to be the price to beat. ProFeel (PMI) or the Canon Price Watch Street Price. I'm waiting for $1000 come August.

With all the issues people are complaining about, I'd skip a gray market camera and stick with a authorized dealer.
