Probably the perfect shot for showing all of the 17-40's weakpoints, flare, distortion and CA. Again, I wanted to exaggerate the distortion the lens produces by pointing down at quite a sharp angle and use the polariser to show the contents of the rockpool. The sun wasn't really where I wanted it, but I just had to go with it.

This lens spent over 3 years on my Canon400D. Constantly. As in, the first day I got it it went on, and never off in that time! Admittedly this was in part down to poverty and not owning anything else, but I still love that lens for all the shots it's given me...

This lens is generally good but the corners are soft when there is anything detailed near them. Still, It's relatively sharp stopped down and I'll keep it for a long time.
