The weather sealing on my grip for zoom barrel portion of the lens has begun peeling off and is quite loose and floppy....has anyone else been experiencing this same issue as well? :-[

Mine came from Canon 1st patch. Still the same as day one.

Now here is a question: What would be better value for the same dollar amount: a Tamron 24-70 2.8 VC *PLUS* a Sigma 50mm ART *or* the Canon 24-70 2.8 ii?

I see praise for each lens but never a direct value comparison.

Stairway to Heaven.

Some Tibetan sherpas has been hired to build the stairs. It is very hard work, carrying these fairly large and heavy rocks up the mountain. This particular one is 1800 steps(!) But they make a full year Tibetan salary in two weeks, so they are not hard to ask.
