Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II USM

This is at f2. So not even at the max aperture. I love this lens on the 1DX for anything at low light , like parties etc.

Great images... parent pictures are key. They grow so fast...
I've recently shot almost an entire shoot with the 85L... love it.

I like how you in your pictures make the background so that it follows the same color theme as the subject.
This is how you see things, it cannot be bought.

Love this lens. I had a whole bag of "L"'s with me but shot this entire day with Yumi @ 85mm.

Lovely shot Gary. When I got the Otus 85/1.4 I sold this lens. Seeing these images like this one makes me wonder why :

I agree with Eldar, lovely Images Gary of a Lovely Young Lady.

Unlike Eldar I kept my Canon 85f/1.2 II, it's such a great Lens, perhaps a little slow on the 5D, but faster on the 1Dx, the Otus 85 f/1.4 is also a remarkable lens, but it does lack the AF of the Canon 85 which at times is very handy.

If I'm walking the streets I generally have both in the Bag.

Another with the Canon 85f/1.2 & 1Dx, I don't think I could have pulled this off with the Otus 85, although the AF isn't the greatest on the Canon, it is there & in dim light does help.
