It's the 5D Mark II selling for $1979 at Adorama and Amazon. Why wait for an announcement at Photokina? It may not even be announced and if it were, it won't be available for another 12-18 months. My 3 day old $1583 refurb has made me happy this week.

Mine will be delivered on the 3rd of September. I can't wait to enjoy it. Look forward to the full potential of the 16 - 35mm L II and the 70-200mm L II lenses.

I bought my refurb thru the Canon CLP program - Google it. It cost $1407 plus state sales tax, free shipping. The price has apparently gone up since then.

Yes, mine is $1580 plus state tax. The final price is $1646.
