As @EOS 4 Life correctly pointed out, Canon makes the ST-E10 – a wireless trigger for their flashes (and I have one!). So I asked a question to which I should have known the answer. Having said that, if the R6 V doesn't support Canon MFS flashes, I don't see how it would support the Canon MFS flash trigger.Probably not.
Of course!Canon ST-E10 Speedlite Transmitter

Of all the highly decorated smartasses on this forum, I am flattered you selected me to be their ambassador. Truly an honor, thank you.So fed-up with this kind of peremptory “I know everything” comments.
For a videographer, a mechanical shutter is a very positive point and a practical way to avoid dust on the sensor when switching lenses.
Well, it's your lucky day! Your wish for a proper successor to the R6II is granted!I really just wish we would get a proper R6II successor with full frame / ibis & RF mount.
Godox claims to work with the R50.You are getting more human everyday, AI Agent Neuro.I should have specified, for my use, 3rd party mono light trigger, which is still probably no at this stage.
Thanks for the info.Godox claims to work with the R50.
Since they also have a wireless microphone, I believe it.
However, that does not mean it will work with the R6 V.
I think IBIS and Cinema OS would be a bad mix.what makes zero sense is that the R6v doesn’t have a cinema operating system
Oops. I meant EOS M6II …Well, it's your lucky day! Your wish for a proper successor to the R6II is granted!
(In fact, it was granted last year.)
I agree and I appreciate that they are keeping the Cinema (C) line without ibis - and I do think the R6V is a fantastic deal. There is no way to make everyone happy. It is a but weird to remove the shutter from a non-cinema camera. We have the R6III for a true photo and video hybrid - I just love the smaller format body.I think IBIS and Cinema OS would be a bad mix.
I think the R6 V is almost perfect for the market it is targeted at.
People seem to always want more, no matter what Canon releases.
