Canon R6 Mark II FPS

I know Canon says the R6 Mark II in Mechanical is 12 FPS and they say Electronic is 40 FPS. But is there a FPS in between say 20? Didnt see anything posted.

Would be nice if Canon posted the FPS in the menu when switching between Mech and Electronic

In electronic shutter mode, H+,H and the 3 picture icons map to 40/20/5 fps.
FPS depends on a few things, shutterspeed among them. If you set that to 0.5 seconds, you won’t get 40fps in H+

Just because you set 40 fps doesn’t mean you’ll get 40 fps. With a 0.5 s exposure, you’ll only get 2 fps at most. There are other caveats for max frame rate (battery charge level, not too narrow an aperture or too high an ISO, etc.).
