Canon RF 300-600mm Update…. Again

If you are shooting with a 24mp, any lens over .65 on a Canon MFT chart will render as sharp. With a R5/R5II, anything over .8 will render sa sharp. With a R7, the lens needs to resolve over .9.

Where did you get those figures from? I would like to understand them.

Looooove that photo of the Mallard

Was sitting on the beach one day and there was these gulls beside us. Suddenly a couple of them got in a fight and I quickly grabbed the camera and started shooting (I had the 100-500mm on at the time). I didn't have a clue what I was shooting but just pointed in the direction and amazingly some of the photos came ok.

The photo may give the impression they're on the sand but they were actually off the ground and going at it for nearly 1 minute.

I saw that. The Gulls are feeding their young by regurgitating. And it's not always without some temper.
Never mind, what I was trying to say is that there is no fight on that beach: it's not like this topic in CR ! Ironically today I succeeded to take some photos of the Common Mynas fights - posted already in the "Birds portraits" - similarities are not intentional !
