When they added pixel shift to the R5, the first thing I did was take a long exposure of a waterfall - because I like to try and break stuff. The water looked mushy and if you zoomed in, it had a weird herringbone pattern in it.
That was the first and last time I used it - although I’ve been thinking about doing four pixel shift shots and then trying to pano-stitch them to see if I can make Capture One have an aneurysm.
