Is dual pixel raw feature a revamped Fujifilm "Super CCD SR II sensor" from the S3 Pro? HDR in the RAW then!!!

The 5D4 has DPAF, that is a given. The latest information on the new DP RAW feature is that the parallax info from the DPAF dual photosites is saved so focus tricks are possible in post-processing.

The DP RAW feature man only be usable in Canon DPP, so if you want to use a different image processor, it may be a long wait. It depends on Canon sharing information, or a lot of reverse engineering.

It might be to Canon's benefit to share information, but they sometimes don't see it that way.

Now that the functionality has been leaked it is obvious that in Canon DP is something completely different. End of story! Having said that it would be nice for Canon to share information for use by different image processors.
