• UPDATE

The forum will be moving to a new domain in the near future (canonrumorsforum.com). I have turned off "read-only", but I will only leave the two forum nodes you see active for the time being.

I don't know at this time how quickly the change will happen, but that will move at a good pace I am sure.

    ------------------------------------------------------------

Let's see some great shots taken with old, cheap gear!

Cathedral - helios 44-2 58mm-F2 1976 Russian lens ( panorama ) $30
Unionville fest 2013 - sigma 28mm F2.8 mini-wide manual lens $20

Not great shots at all but useable images after some simple processings.

Love the G12. It counts as cheap, right? I'll let others be the judge of whether the photos are great or not...

Hey all,

1980-ish vintage Nikon EM with a 70-210 ƒ4 Series E lens. Manual focus takes a bit of getting used to!! It was pretty foggy around the RR tracks.

love this topic... these following images were shot with canon 20d that i bought for every day practicing light

note: not sure if it is cheap; but i bought it with broken lcd display (not able to view image on lcd), fixed it and sold battery grip came with it, out of pocket that i had to pay was $5... of course not to include the lens ;D

noise reduction was applied and grains were added back to images
