New owner's manual

There have been a number of enhancements made to the 1D-X via firmware updates since I purchased my camera. At some point it would be nice to have an updated printed copy of the owner's manual that includes these improvements.

Is it possible to order a new and updated manual from Canon?

don't waste your time.
I tried to contact them and they sent me an even older print of the manual than one came in the box.

A revised manual for the 7D came out with the v2 firmware. The 1D X v2 firmware is due out in January, perhaps we'll see a new manual then.

I had my manual stolen - along with my photo backpack while shooting wildlife. I downloaded the PDF manual to my iPad. While not the same as a paper manual, it has a few benefits. Since PDF's are searchable, you can find anything in a flash.

Did you ask Canon for a replacement print manual? I did for my one series and they sent one free of charge, said it was one of the perks of owning a 1 series camera. This was 2 or 3 years ago.
