now I know why there is no sign of the new 5D yet...they are still testing the expandable lcd function ;D
Could be something for compact solutions like the next G7x or so...

Or just make it a fixed big size and cover the bit you don't want to see with black tape

Canon are good with tape, they could sell special tape that needs refills, there you go Canon sorted that for you
