Yes I just got.

I am looking for a replacement foot for this lens. Both the regular foot and short foor take up extra rooms in the bag take up too much space in the bag. I am lookig ath 4th genreation design (see http://www.naturescapes.net/store/4th-generation-designs-crx-5-lens-foot.html) or the Wimberley AP-602 (http://tripodhead.com/products/replacement-feet-main.cfm).

Both are very low and can not be used as a handle but will save considerable room in the camera bag when traveling.

Any opinion? Any other choices? My fall back position is the monopod foot that came with the lens.

Thanks

Rich

The RRS LCF-53 is what I use. Can be used as a handle, which is definitely useful for a great white.

I have one and it is great except that it is too tall (takes up too much room in the bag).

Any travel with the foot removed?

I have the 4th Gen on my 200-400. Like to adjustable foot, but not sure if it worth the extra $50. Plus if I use the plate as a handle, the weight of the lens and body is supported by 2 screws. Probably not an issue, ... or is it?
