What a diversity of colorful birds! You are literally sitting on top of gold mine... keep digging!!! Beautiful photos!
Is the Bell Miner common there? What I know is they use to be aggressive to other birds (but not towards all species, only food concurrents).

Thank you ISv

This spot is special. We are sitting approx. 7m from the rock pool with no cover. The action lasts about 40 mins, so it's hard to keep the camera settings right. Been back twice, and it's still good, but the first visit was the best. Given it's near mid winter and cold out there, not sure why they want a dip. Main problem is some of the honeyeaters do chase the smaller birds away. I would say the bell Miners are common there (seen in other areas of Western Sydney with tallish trees). Walking in, you are surrounded by all the tinkling from the tree tops although you can't see them up there. I don't know much about them but the Bell Miners that came down where not being aggressive. This is only the second time I got a shot of a Bell Miner with a poor shot previously.

Today it was surprisingly gloomy at least till 1PM. Just drizzling. Now it looks kind of better but I enjoyed the less- contrast light when it was overcast... Yellow-faced Canary and Scaly-breasted Munia.

The clean background and good light are better but the birds/weather conditions have their own rules. From Saturday taken in 1.5-2h window.

Beautiful series, ISv. Are those raindrops we can see on the third one? It creates a nice mood..
Yes it's rain drops! Nice mood? - I'm not sure, especially when you are out there and it intensifies :)! For the photo yes, for me at that moment - not so much :(!
Today it was better: the light rain stopped when I got to the spot and started again when I was on my way back !
