One more hot day here (well, right now - about 4h after my walk it is ~60-70% overcast and bit of cooler!).
First there were several Japanese White Eyes foraging something on Blue Ginger (actually that plant is Tradeskantia!)

After that I found a new spot with a pool for the bathing birds. There were few Yellow-faced Canary in the beginning...

Soon some Java Sparrows arrived. First one is looking bit of shocked by the mess caused from Canary but soon it found it's way to the water when another one was patiently waiting for the "dust" to diminish...

"...number of 'firsts' recently" - that is awesome! I'm waiting to see something "first" here for ~2 years:confused:
...nice response. Thanks. No false modesty: I don't know that much about birds and get rather excited when I spot what looks to be one I haven't seen--and of course photographed.

I'm still on the lookout for a male Summer Tanager--shouldn't be too difficult if one is in the area!
