Show your Bird Portraits

On my way there it started drizzling, time to time worst... Only this White-rumped Shama. It was defending it's favorite "perch" like as I would seat on that very wet and more than good marked bench... I wasted ~2h there, shooting when it was just lightly drizzling.

Pied avocet (Recurvirostra avosetta) chicks feeding when the sun came out this morning on the dutch island Texel.

Taken from a height of +/- 1.5 meter/ 5 feet above the pool of water which I normally do not like since this makes the subject ‘stick’ to the background.

R5 Mk II with RF 200-800mm @ around 700mm.
