I feel your pain - stalking these birds is a pain. Very shy and they see you coming a LONG way off. The trick is to live in or visit areas where they are common, then you just run into them on occasion. I got some of my best shots pulled off the the road near a marsh.Don Haines said:

Do you count Swans as 'birds'
