NIce shots ISv.These are from today: windy (~28mph sustained and up to 40 in the gusts) -it's hard to frame or simply avoid a leafs/branches getting between the object and the lens. If I was Pro I would avoid shooting in these conditions - most probably! I'm just trying to get some experience for such conditions and it's a drop by drop (and I believe it will pay in the future...)

Thanks! It is mostly the actual lighting from the scene. I was surprised how little I ended up editing in terms of color.I really like the color tone in this.
It's a Firecrest, similar to a Goldcrest as here: https://www.canonrumors.com/forum/threads/show-your-bird-portraits.1280/page-1355#post-952979I have seen this cute one yesterday and wonder which one it is.

A few shots from my local pond using the R3 and the 100-500
And that even though they have such long legs that those look almost like photoshopedCanon R5 + RF 100-500mm + 1.4x extender
I'm not sure if it's the same bird. There was a bunch of stilts trying to be the king of the mountain. They just loved that spot and that pose.![]()
Great collection, but...February non-Canon photo dump
Water pipit
Crested lark
Little owl
Siberian stonechat
Black-winged stilt
Striated heron
Super nice, super sharp. Incredible, what ISO 12,800 can do...I have seen this cute one yesterday and wonder which one it is.
