Warbling Vireo?
Nope! As I understand you are from Europe and the House Finch doesn't exist there. Here (Hawaii) it's introduced and very common bird. But back in the years when I started posting in CR someone made a perfect point: "What is common for you is not common for many of the rest here" (or something like that - I don't remember exactly the words).Nothing interesting?
Are you kidding?

Doesn't matter if the bird is common: the pictures are interesting nevertheless!!!!!!!Nope! As I understand you are from Europe and the House Finch doesn't exist there. Both beautiful. The spread wings are just great.Pied Wagtail (sub-species with White Wagtail) this afternoon hunting Mayflies this afternoon for its chicks.
I was cycling back after a fruitless birding session and decided to detour to a pool where I rarely see anything. This Wagtail was pirouetting around, catching the insects on the wing. He occasionally ate some and then got a beakfull for the nest. Both beautiful. The spread wings are just great.
A beautiful story. Luck of the brave.I was cycling back after a fruitless birding session and decided to detour to a pool where I rarely see anything. This Wagtail was pirouetting around, catching the insects on the wing. He occasionally ate some and then got a beakfull for the nest.
