Researchers are working on all the things that Harry has mentioned, they could indeed happen at some future point. I don't think that Canon is heading toward actually implementing them, it may be someone like Panasonic who is more into video where the tech will make a difference.

Technology can change overnight, but things that are very difficult to implement take longer. Its taken Canon several years to get dual pixels into most of its camera models, and its still not near its full potential due to the complexity of the processing.

Why would you limit your analysis to a few months? Would you project net worth by looking at it the day you get paid and the day before that?
