TS-E 17mm repair needed

I purchased a Canon Refurb TS-E 17mm lens a few years ago and up until this weekend it has been fine.
Now the lens will shoot wide open, but won't stop down to a smaller taking aperture. I just get a 01 code on the R5 and 5D Mark IV.
This code is a communications error between the lens and adaptor or camera body. I have(very gently) cleaned the contacts, to no benefit.
I can hear the lens making a noise during its stop down attempt. This lens has never been dropped or mishandled, and when not in use resides in a dry cabinet.
Canon's website says they no longer repair the lens, so I was wondering if anyone out there has a repair house they recommend.

Wow! Was I tired when I posted the above!
I could not get it into my head how to get to the non-warranty repair on Canon's website! After a night's sleep, all was clear and the lens is now off to Canon for repair.

Nope. I hope to get that info early next week.

Because I am too clumsy sometimes, I needed a pastic outer shell replaced of rf 85 1.2 (after dropping it three or four times) and it was about $500 (usa money). I don't know how much is the pastic vs labor.

If my bill comes to $500, i'll be ecstatic.
For some reason the first cost that pops into my head is $900. This of course is based on absolutely nothing.
I'd love to know why my lens won't stop down anymore. If I baby this thing any more, it will be wearing Pampers.

Well, the repair estimate has come in at $469.00
Or I can get a 20% discount on another new item.
On the assumption that once opened no additional repairs will be needed, I'll stick with the repair.
And a Stearns and Foster custom carrying case.

The lens has returned with its accessories, and the original box. Less than one week gone!
Canon replaced the electromagnetic diaphragm module and all works as it should.
No extra charges. I'm quite happy everything occurred as Canon stated it would.
Now to search for tall objects that normally keystone in the viewfinder!

Glad that worked out! I've always found Canon Service to be good. They generally deliver better then promised.
