Visit Guilin, Mountain Range, in China - Lens selection

Hi guys,
My co-workers and I will visit Guilin, China. From March 21th to 23rd. http://www.triptoguilin.com/

I'm packing these. What do you think? Too much? too little?

As I said before the 70-200 is horribly cumbersome for this I would take the 135L or the 85L instead
With the glass you have I would just go the 16-35, the 85 and the 135
I would take both bodies
While the 24-70 is great optically I prefer Uwa and for Guilin and the area 24mm is just not wide enough so you will be either shooting wide or portraits so with 2 bodies 16-35 on one 85 on the other you got everything covered with the 135 if you need longer. Also the 1.2 will be gold at night the 70-200 just isn't fast enough
Currently my kit in china is 16-35, 351.4 , 85 1.4 and 135 I did bring the 2x tc but never use it
Also got the eos m 22mm and now the 11-22 plus ef adapter. Only problem is my wife has basically stolen my 85 now

I personally would only take one body along with your 70-200 and 16-35.

Been there some 25 years ago. The 16-35 will have a great use shooting those strange mountains.

By coincidence I'll be there the following week on vacation, organised as a mystery tour by Chinese friends after official visits to Hong Kong and Shanghai. I had intended to take the 5DIII plus Tamron 150-600 for nature and 24-105 for general.

I have been trying to persuade my wife to take the 70D with the 15-85 as it could provide a back-up body and I could omit the 24-105 and we would have two cameras ready all the time. However, she wants something small for her handbag. She needs something without any buttons, mode dials etc that can be pressed by mistake and set off the self- timer etc. Anything foolproof to recommend (apart from iPhones etc)?

Joke aside the grey sky is a real pain in the pigu (yeah that's the chinese word for it). First because it's grey but even more because if fucks up exposure when it's sunny (behind the clouds with low EV on the ground and burnt sky. Grrrrrr. Where I live we are statistically considered to have 20 blue sky days a YEAR.

But no I won't move out just because of that.
