We have heard the many celebrations of the new children in your growing Canon households. How about posting some sets of raws shot off a tripod at various ISOs with different lenses. Of course making sure the camera settings are known to you (and not distorting your results) and the lighting is not causing any obvious problems. Some still lifes would be great.

It would be wonderful to see some real world performance after all the brouhaha.

Have you tried posting an image to this site? The limitations are around 4 mg and you can have up to 4 images so 1mg an image.

I wanna know about the HDR setting. Is it cool? Or just a gimmick? Does it save out to a jpeg, exr, 32 bit raw?
not cool, gimmick, jpeg only

bracketing however is much cooler with 2 3 5 and 7 shot options and greater stop range available i'm bummed that you stillhave to go into the menu to enable it rather than being able to hold down a button and use the scroll wheel like the 1D

This won't win any prizes for artistic merit, but here's one I took today at ISO 100. Mostly I was interested in it for the dynamic range.

Here's a couple of full size crops pulled a couple stops in either direction, there seems to be plenty detail in the snow and plenty in the shadows. I'm fairly sure my Rebel would have balked at that.

In-cam HDR is handy for seeing if a shot has potential, but I doubt I'd ever use the camera version even if it were something other than jpeg.

I have a 5-stop bracket arrangement as one my C1 custom mode, that works fairly well.

yep someone mentioned that use before, I agree it's handy from that perspective, its got these "styles" that can be applied to various tastes as well which are a little on the dodgy side.

Good idea on the C1 custom for quick access bracketing I might give that a go.
