Where is my Rebel T2?
A few people have pointed out that Canon has removed all their film bodies from their site other than the EOS-1v

Shocked? I am!

  1. Film Cameras just don’t sell. I’ve two Digital Rebel bodies that I can’t sell for $5.00.

Lots of sellers asking $200-$600 for them locally on craigslist, but of course there are no sales. Some people are looking at those prices and pulling their camera out of the closet and listing it, thinking its worth something. This just feeds the madness. I do buy old EOS 650’s when I can find them with the original Canon EF 50mm 1.8 or 70-210 F4 when the price is reasonable. The body and flash are give aways.

  2. Gone the way of the Polaroid. I’m partially bummed – but I imagine they will be reasonably available via second hand long enough for me to get a decent body – not going pro, but I have a Nikon FM10 – hand me down, leave me alone – that isn’t going to cut it.

  3. wow, Although I’m not a Film user, I’m pretty shocked. I know lots of people who are still using films.

  4. I recently bought a Canon EOS 1V-HS second handed but in superb condition.

It’s a Canon EOS 1Ds Mark III for the price of a Canon EOS 400D/Digital Rebel XTi.
