Where is my Rebel T2?
A few people have pointed out that Canon has removed all their film bodies from their site other than the EOS-1v

Shocked? I am!

  1. Totally shocked!! I got a EOS3 on february in perfect condition (really, not a scratch on it), with all the rubber seals and grip for 400 american dollars, it is the most amazing SLR I’ve ever used, the eye control focus is like magic, the 7fps amazing, and the focus tracking is perfect!! the body design is beautifull, it is a little heavy with the grip, 16-35 and speedlite, but I got used to it already…
    I’m getting the 5D mk2 anyway, just waiting for CR’s review! ;-)

  2. um… you guys are just NOW noticing this? CanonUSA removed all the Film Bodies off the website months ago… they havent been avaliable for purchase from the Manufacturer for some time now!

  3. As far as I know, the 1v also isn’t in production any more. Canon’s supposed to be selling only “left-over” stock supplies.

  4. People should have seen this coming. All but the 1V have been discontinued and removed from Canon websites in the rest of the world for ages! Some (very few) sites still have the EOS3 (like Canon Australia). And (with all due respect), Douglas is totally wrong. They were taken off the US site within the last day or so.
