  1. No, the right translation is :
“The images will be processed by the Blue3ds company who do the 24p/25p encoding” … sad !

  2. As a matter of fact, a guy named Trammel Hudson (the deveoper of Magic Latern software for the Canon 5D mark 2) is currently implimenting a way to feed timecode into the camera. Look up Canon 5D Magic Lantern for even more capabilities that he has added to what them camera can do.

  3. A Community of Photographers, Videographers and Filmmakers around the world are taking a campaign requesting improvements for EOS 5D Mark II (24p, 25p, 29.97, etc.)

It’s VERY easy and fast: calling Canon at 1-800-828-4040 to politely “enter a feature request” for the 5D Mark II.

    — CHECK IT here:

    http://5dmark2.wordpress.com/2009/09/04/i-called-canon/

There you can find more info, customers sharing their experiences and some answers given by Canon. You might be VERY surprised!!

LOT OF US already called, and Canon is taking the request.

If you care about video improvements on the 5D Mark II, do the same!

    – It’s VERY easy to do, and COMMUNITY actinons CAN make a difference.

Thanks to everyone supporting and joining this campaign!!

And thanks to CR for this great site.

  4. No one notice this ? :

“nous avons été incroyablement surpris du rendu du Canon, […] Cette impression a été confirmée quand, pour un deuxième repérage […] tournés avec le Canon (améliorés avec un nouveau soft).”

“We were incredibly surprised by the rendering of the Canon […]. This impression was confirmed by a second shoot […] with the Canon (better with a new software)”
