hehe! a truly CanonFanBoy worthy interpretation!![]()
Be careful when looking at and comparing MTF charts. There was a discussion on the new 600 f/4 that the new charts may be using a different standard. The new 600 III MTF looks bad when compared to the MTF charts released with the 600 II. The RF 24-105 has the new "Look", it only has 4 lines instead of the 8 used in the old charts for the EF 24-105. Not sure what it all means or what's changed. Canon Japan had the new charts for both the 600 II and III and they showed an improvement in the corners for the 600 III.
Doubtful. They already provided a solution with the adapter.
I’m fairly close to you on this. Differences: 8-10 FPS with AF locked, 5 FPS Servo with tracking priority. Bigger battery ( can’t get significantly more power without getting larger).Im thinking:-
EOS Rs
50+MP sensor with BSI or new tech
8-10 FPS(maybe in crop mode)
Dual DIGIC8
NO IBIS
Dual SD Cards
Bare minimum video specs due to sensor res
Possibly slightly larger body(due to dual cards and processors)
HiCap Battery(still LPE6 size)
Real Joystick
Larger Higher Res EVF
Photozone aka optical limits has finally reviewed the lens: http://www.opticallimits.com/canon_eos_ff/1045-sigma100400f563c
They found what I found in the 4 copies I looked at courtesy of the local dealer; the IS in the viewfinder is terrible and not much good in practice. Their summary is: "Thus even though the Sigma is quite capable in optimal conditions, we'd suggest to look elsewhere."
My experience of the Tamron 100-400mm f/6.3 wasn't good either. I made the mistake of buying one because I thought it would be light for travel but eventually sold it as the tracking of birds in flight was hopeless. The Sigma and Tamron 150-600mms are much, much better and really worthy of consideration.

Says -3 elsewhere.
I've heard very good things about the Tamron so hope the 11-24 lives up to my billing!
Leaked photo of SPORTS LENS for new canon medium FORMAT system.
As a 7d2 shooter(would love a 1dx2 but unfortunately selling the wife won't generate enough cash) I can tell you that there is not a mirrorless camera on the market that could tempt me to change systems. Yet. Ergonomics are so incredibly important to a wildlife shooter and it seems non wildlife shooters simply cannot comprehend how important the feel of the camera is. With a grip the eos r actually looks manageable but it would have to tick a lot more boxes as well. Weather sealing. frame rate. An evf that does not hurt to look through for hours on end. ZERO lag when panning at high speeds. Buttons in perfect places(although that lens/adapter ring looks to be the shizzle). There is a helluva lot more required than just whacking in an evf nad some useless focus peaking.
Sorry, I don't understand what you mean.Don't know whether the GN decreases that much, but maybe the GN is only 10 in the 24mm Position.
Really ... nobody posted here ...
hard to eat that crow I guess ...
